A crypto wallet made for people — not for extracting money from them

One seed phrase, eight networks — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON and more. Free, no accounts, no tracking. Your keys never leave your device.

Features

Everything a wallet should do. Nothing it shouldn't.

Coins, tokens and dApps on eight chains, in one app.

Keys stay on your device

The 12- or 24-word seed is generated locally and never leaves. The vault is encrypted with scrypt + AES-256-GCM, auto-locks when idle, and asks for your password before showing the seed again.

Eight chains, one seed

Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Bitcoin, Solana, TRON. Tokens: ERC-20, BEP-20, SPL (including Token-2022) and TRC-20 — from curated lists or any contract address.

Honest fees

Real numbers, not guesses: EIP-1559 tiers on EVM chains, live sat/vB on Bitcoin, energy and bandwidth at actual prices on TRON, priority fees on Solana.

No blind signing

The extension speaks EIP-1193 and EIP-6963. Every approval window shows the site's origin, the decoded transaction and the full message.

Privacy by default

No accounts, no e-mail, no KYC, no analytics, no trackers. We don't know who you are, and we like it that way. The only network calls are to public nodes and price feeds.

Everything else you'd expect

QR send and receive, portfolio with live USD values, multiple accounts from one seed, transaction history with explorer links. Light and dark themes.

How it works

Three steps to self-custody

  1. Install

Add the extension to Chrome or Edge — one build works in both — or just open the web app. No registration.

  2. Create or import a seed

Generate a new 12- or 24-word phrase, or bring the one you already use in MetaMask, Phantom or TronLink. Same seed, same addresses.

  3. Use all eight networks

Send and receive with QR codes, watch the portfolio in USD, connect to dApps. One password locks everything.

Security

What actually protects your keys

In plain words — no magic, no marketing math.

  • Keys are born on your device

The seed comes from system randomness and is never transmitted. Keys derive from it via BIP-39, BIP-44/84 and SLIP-0010 — the same standards MetaMask, Phantom and TronLink use.

  • A vault that resists brute force

Your password runs through scrypt — slow and memory-hungry on purpose, so guessing millions of passwords per second stops working. The vault itself is AES-256-GCM, which also catches tampering.

  • Audited cryptography underneath

We didn't roll our own crypto. Signatures, hashing and key derivation come from noble and scure — audited, open-source, used across the industry.

  • Tested against official vectors

About 300 unit tests cover the crypto core, including the official BIP test vectors.

  • Guard rails in daily use

Auto-lock on idle, password changes that re-encrypt the vault, password-gated seed export, readable confirmation for every dApp signature.

Being honest: self-custody means you own the seed phrase — and the responsibility. If the phrase is lost or stolen, no one can recover the funds. And while the crypto libraries we build on are audited, our own application code has not yet had an external audit. We won't tell you anything is "100% safe" — nothing in security is.

Why GaurdWallet

Built for people, not for growth charts

A wallet should respect the person holding it.

No tracking, ever

Zero analytics, zero ad pixels, zero fingerprinting. Your financial life is not our product.

No accounts, no KYC

Install and go. We never ask who you are, and there's no server-side profile to leak.

Confirmations you can read

Every signature shows the origin, the decoded transaction and the full message in plain language. No blind hex, no dark patterns, no pre-checked boxes.

No lock-in

Standard derivation paths mean your seed moves freely between GaurdWallet, MetaMask, Phantom and TronLink. Leaving is as easy as arriving — that's the point.

FAQ

Straight answers

Is GaurdWallet safe?

Your seed phrase is generated and encrypted on your device — scrypt stretches the password, AES-256-GCM seals the vault — and private keys never leave it. The cryptography comes from the audited noble and scure libraries, with about 300 unit tests over the crypto core, including the official BIP vectors.

No wallet is 100% safe, and we won't pretend otherwise: self-custody means your seed and your device are your responsibility, and our own code hasn't had an external audit yet.

What happens if I lose my seed phrase?

Then the funds are gone. We have no servers, no accounts and no copy of your keys — nobody can restore the wallet, including us. Write the 12 or 24 words on paper and keep them offline.

Is it really free? What's the catch?

No catch. No premium tier, no token, no markup on transactions, no data sold behind your back. The only thing you ever pay is the network fee — and that goes to the blockchain, not to us.

Has the code been audited?

The cryptography underneath — the noble and scure libraries — is independently audited and used across the industry. Our own application code is not audited yet. It's covered by about 300 unit tests, including the official BIP-39/BIP-44 vectors. Factor that in when deciding how much to keep here.

Which networks and tokens are supported?

Eight networks from one seed: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Bitcoin, Solana and TRON. Tokens: ERC-20 and BEP-20 (curated lists, plus any contract address you add), SPL including Token-2022, and TRC-20 such as USDT.

Can I import my MetaMask, Phantom or TronLink seed?

Yes. GaurdWallet uses the same derivation standards — BIP-44, BIP-84 for Bitcoin, SLIP-0010 for Solana — so your existing seed gives the same addresses here, and a GaurdWallet seed works there. No lock-in either way.

Do you collect my data or require KYC?

No. No sign-up, no e-mail, no KYC, no analytics, no trackers. The app only talks to public blockchain nodes and price feeds to show your balances.

Where exactly are my private keys stored?

In an encrypted vault on your device. Keys are derived from your seed locally; the vault key comes from your password via scrypt; the data is sealed with AES-256-GCM, which also catches tampering. Nothing key-related is ever transmitted.

Which browsers does it work in?

Chrome and Edge for the extension — one Manifest V3 build covers both. The web app runs in any modern browser, phones included.

How do dApp connections and signing work?

The extension implements EIP-1193 and EIP-6963, so dApps find it like any other wallet. Before you sign anything you see the site's origin, the decoded transaction and the full message — never a bare hex blob.
